Today I made this lil penguin center step card. I love that penguin from Simply Charmed!! I put her on an action wobble, embossed some white shiny paper I had with my Cuttlebug Seeing Spots folder, and the paper is from DCWV. I used a stamp from Scrappy Moms. toilet paper roll????
The challenge today at Cross Your Heart Paper Crafts is to make something for the home. I have been wanting to try to make a toilet paper roll mini album and so I thought a Christmas one might be a good start. It was a bit of a challenge since I am still under the weather! I didn't get to embellish it as much as I would have and I didn't get to attach my pictures either! But, I thought it turned out ok and will definately try another one. Practice makes perfect right?
I used 3 toilet paper rolls,DCWV paper, some brads, flowers, and some ribbon from my stash. I used my new Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder for the journal tags.
I am going to show several shots so you can see each page.
I am also going to enter this into the Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge which is to make a toilet paper mini album.

Christmas in July Challenge#2
Another fun challenge at Cross my Heart Paper Crafts! Today it is to make a treat using embossing. Ok, as the day progressed at work, I realized I have the flu! I totally wanted to climb under the desk at work but I sucked it up for a bit and managed to make a little hot cocoa packet holder to keep from thinking of my aching body! I so wanted to drink that but I live in Fl and its a zillion degrees out so I thought it would look odd! Though you can't see it very well, its in there! I used my new Cuttlebug folder, Snowflakes and some patterned DCWV paper. I used the hat cut from Simply Charmed and a stamp from Scrappy Moms. (I realized I used the same stamp in challenge #1!). My excuse is that I am sick and well, I totally love Scrappy Moms!
I am one follower away from my 104 follower giveaway!

Butterfly Kisses
I love this paper stack, Mariposa by DCWV. It is so pretty I didn't even want to touch it! But, I thought it would be great for the Patches of Pink Link Up Party where red, white, and blue was to be used on the project. The ribbon I got from the greatest little scrapbooking store, the Paper Niche. Sentiment was from Scrappy Moms stamps and I used my Once Upon a Princess for the tag.
I am also linking this up to Craft Junkie Too linky party.

Inking it up!
Kassidy at Inking it up Crazy posted a challenge on FB to do a summer themed project. For the last 45 minutes, I have been a spaz ripping apart the craft desk looking for a cart to make a card!(it was a challenge!haha) My 4 yr old son wanted to play soldiers. Instead he got a lesson on the Cuttlebug and stamping while I did my card. Here is what I did and here is what he did!
Scrappy Mom Challenge
The Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps is to use the Preserve Cartridge. I don't have that cart but I used the strawberry from Simply Charmed because I have been wanting to use the sentiment, "In a Jam?" from the Scrappy Mom set, a Pinch & a Dash! I used my I-Roc to set the stone on the paper flower, stickles for the stem, and some ribbon from my stash. The paper is from a DCWV stack and I used my PK stamps for the face, love those!

Just Because
The Challenge at My Creative Time:
***Use either "Wild Card" OR "Just Because" cartridges! & PLEASE incorporate some EMBOSSING somewhere on any project of your choice! You can dry or heat emboss, whichever you prefer!
IF YOU DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE CARTRIDGES, USE ANY "OLDER" CARTRIDGE YOU OWN.
I used Just Because Cards and embossed the kraft brown paper with swiss dots, used red plaid ribbon and a Happy Holidays stamp since I am also entering this into The Paper Variety challenge which is to make a paper project with a Christmas theme. I love baking so I thought a Gingerbread card would be sweet.
Oh Scrap!
The challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps is: to use patterned products and PK faces. Today I got my new set of Pk stamps in, Critter Faces. They are totally cute but to be honest, I am not sure how to really use them since I don't have a Gypsy to black out the faces on my Create a Critter Cart! Oh well, I can experiment like I did with this turtle! Plus, Pk has a great new place to hang out at and ask questions, The Peachy Keen Connection!! It has places for Bloggers, Swaps, make new friends,etc... it is great!
I love pink and green together! I used my green twine from The Twinery, a Pink By Design stamp from a set I won, the turtle is from Create a Critter, the paper is from the DCWV Animal Crackers pad, and of course, my PK stamps!

whoo hoo! I made an easel card. I know, easy right? But, I just couldn't figure it out and now I am like like, duh!,what is wrong with you? I made it seem way harder than it was... maybe it was the first instructional video I watched, it did not make sense!! Iam a visual person so I have to watch videos!! I am terrible with measurements, they just don't compute in my head! lol ohh I may just have to attempt a twisted easel card now!
I made this birthday card for my brother in law. I used my swiss dots Cuttlebug folder, Scrappy Mom Stamps(of course!!), the tag was cut from Once Upon a Princess, and the stickers are Jolees Boutique.

Glorious Treats
Have you ever been to see Glory at Glorious Treats?? She is an amazing and I mean amazing woman! She will tell you not to be jealous but please, when you see what she does, you can't help but be a little jeal!!
She has kickin ideas and she is willing to share those ideas with great instructions. (which even I can follow!!) While I do not know her personally, I know her from what she reveals in her blog and she is the most modest person I know. She does not brag, she she just likes to create beautiful things and she does. Gosh, she makes look so effortlessly! She doesn't claim to be Wonder Woman though secretly, I think she is!!
Ok, I just think she rocks so stop by her blog and I think you will agree!
The new neighbor spent 4 hours helping out my husband today because our meter box was smoking! He has the cutest lil 4 yr old girl who hung out with my 4 yr old son! I decided I wanted to make him something to thank him and his wife. I saw how Glory made this awesome cupcakes in a jar. I did not have jars but had these plastic cups for forever so I used those. They did not turn out beautiful but they did turn out yummy!(yikes, the picture does look a bit scary but they were kinda cute!) Thanks Glory! (I caught a little bit on FB that someone was nasty to her, I hope this makes her feel better!!)
